I enjoyed his first novel set in Madrid, this is good too, reading the first half hungover/ drunk I was wowed by it, smooth postmodern fiction/fact mix, great vocab, sense of news from an amusing neurotic life lived, real comedy, when I picked up my kindle to read the final 34% I was less enamoured by the texts within text (eg.the kid he tutors dinosaur report) and began to doubt my initial enthusiasm, but its funny and clever I am pretty sure, what if he just wrote a book with a plot :(
