The review of Jules de Balincourt’s
Parallel Universe show in Reggio Emilia in the March issue of Artforum (2013, pp 292-3) by Pier Paolo Pancotto appropriately cites Alighiero Boetti in discussion of de Balincourt’s early map paintings. It's appropriate given the show was in Italy, but unusual in the literature on the artist.
Gee, I wonder where
that came from?
