WW Gallery is pleased to present the inaugural exhibition at the gallery's new location 34/35 Hatton Garden, London. Frightening Albert is a solo show of new works by Phil Illingworth, which is inspired by and takes its name from, the notorious Watson experiments of 1920 surrounding stimulus response and conditioning.
The work is about painting - yet it is everything but paint on canvas. Rejecting the idea of a single image plane, Illingworth begins with notions of painting in 3-D, and then starts to explore.
