Arts Council Cuts

It's very sad, and also hard to feel sad about. The general cuts, and the awful crapness of a Tory govt, outweigh sympathy for my own kind (artists?). Or is it just that arts funding (worthy though it is) feels very far from artists, and being an artist. Or as I don't get any funding, am I just a jaded schadenfreuder?

It's pathetic, given how small the savings in arts funding will be anyway. And it's pathetic that the arts council is still riddled with cronyism and run by people who are either/both a poor artist/poor administrator. At least if you get nothing, they can't take that away from you, JJ. :)
