Am I the only one to like this? I can understand how it might have died at the box office in the US - with its jokes about Creationism and looney Christian fundamentalism, trigger-happy redneck cops and a conspiracy-riddled federal government, predicated on a couple of wimps from England, but I laughed like a drain through most of it. Paul, the hip Et is a terrific creation. How could it miss? Has Simon Pegg passed his use-by date? God how time flies.

I saw Paul at the weekend, I loved it. I was very geeky and enjoyed spotting all the sci fi film stolen lines and references, brilliant. Good old Pegg knows what he does well and just gets on with it. I was also drain like in my laughing
