Blue Valentine

Story Of A Crap Relationship it could be subtitled. I found Ryan Gosling really annoying, or was it his character? I think it was him. Michele Williams was good though. The film picked up a little bit as it went on and the back story gave the contemporary scenes a bit of narrative depth but overall I'd say with plenty of everyday crap relationships around as it is, so who needs uninteresting fictionalised ones?

I really like the stills i have seen from the film. I might still give it a go. I know the director made the actors stay in cramped conditions while filming (hence the real life romance maybe) I like the Gosling.

Yes, a lot of scenes certainly seemed improvised and method-acted kind of thing.
