I know that this film has been around for a while now, but I have only just got the nerve up to watch it (I'm not good with the gore. Finger nails and eyeballs usually do me in...of course it was a different kind of ball that.....well, anyway)
There were, I thought, some beautiful shots and serial sequences in the film. It certainly did a good job to unsettle the viewer with a very sad start. I think perhaps I was a little disappointed that in the end Von Trier went for the the obvious horror/torture stuff. But then again it did need to make money. I will watch it again.
