One of the best books about being an artist, by the artist's daughter. Should be compulsory for all aspiring creatives. Reread. Made me cry in the end, the loss of guston felt so strong. Getting old.

do you mean you read it twice, back to back? I too enjoyed the book. He doesn't come out of it looking like the best dad in the world.
