Much better than gossip girl. All the brand names and restaurants and characters which just talk and do things, like real life, no back stories and development. The killing and torture scenes i found too scary and unpleasant to read much of, but they puncture the high price banality of consumption, a kind of ultimate exploitation. Conceptual and very smoothly written with LOL moments. A masterpiece, perhaps.
