Schiele. Always found him a bit teenage, perhaps because he died at 28. There's something there, especially before he got too stylised/manga. He really put the vagina front and centre, confronting the stuffy viewer who must pretend that he/she is not interested. His focus is clear, but the women he depicts bite/fight back with their swollen lips. Figures go off the paper. Ho hum, better than I thought at first.

Megadebt to Klimt as well. Klimt the older, more versatile. They even did portraits of the same Viennese hottie - Fredericke Maria Beer

I think they both died in the huge influenza pandemic of 1918... :cry:
