The Nakeds @ The Drawing Room

A show of nudes, confined to drawings and pen and wash and featuring a fairly motley crew, most not particularly noted for their draughtsmanship - David Austen, Fiona Banner, Joseph Beuys, Louise Bourgeois, George Condo, Enrico David, Marlene Dumas, Tracey Emin, Leon Golub, Stewart Helm, Chantal Joffe, Maria Lassnig, Paul McCarthy, Chris Ofili, Carol Rama, Egon Schiele, Nancy Spero, Georgina Starr, Alina Szapocznikow, Rosemarie Trockel, Nicola Tyson, Andy Warhol and Franz West. Runs until the 29th November.

I was initially reminded of the German show from last year in Bremen, Sie. Selbst. Nakt. but this is an altogether looser, weaker concept or theme - basically the variety of uses to which the nude can be put even when limited to the most cursory of sketches. Yawn.

As an exercise in witless curating, it's worth about a three minute look, otherwise don't bother.
