Viennese portraits At the national gallery London

At first thought wtf is this silly show but it grew on me. .schonburg the composer stands out .. His awkward amateur skewed faces have more life than many of the more skilled ones which with technique lose immediacy. There are the pictures ofbthe dead and the lost times of jewish vienna. It's all a bit tenuous but klimt and kokoshka and schiele are good to see in the nationals bowels.
