The Continuation of Romance; painting an interrrupted discourse at Rosenfeld Porcini.
How's dat for a show title and gallery name. It is what you'd imagine from all that gumf. However in their favour the gallery asst. was pleasant and welcoming and they have interesting quotes stuck on the wall.
The best of these works was a big sort arty povery one of a cathedral. The rest have that trying to be serious and big look of a lot of bad Italian/European contemporary art. All paint techniques , textures, and references to old masters. You know whadda I mean.
