SCULPTURE Houseago & Schütte @ HauserWirth Frith St

SCULTPURE, big stuff like HENRY MOORE. It's exciting to large things made of wood, bronze plaster. They do look like art. They lack much movement in space. There is a great moment in Houseago where a 3D foot turns into a drawing of a foot. That will do me. Perhaps it all looks like it's been scaled up from a model, but that's traditional too, and who cares. But the best sculpture does something in space, cuts it, zigzags, something like that, I'm no expert. But there is fun here, just needs a little of something else.

This is a great combination actually. Like 'em both. And they're both called Thomas - wow that must have been confusing for H&W.... ;)

Bring back sculpture!
