bronze at royal academy

I bumped into a friend so maybe didnt give this show my full attention. Bronze. It's all stuff made of bronze. The best is first, some greek greened up bronze of a figure which has real life to it and maybe because it's broken seems to exploit space in a way like nothing else in the show, flying or leaping which is a hard thing to make metal do. The Matisse backs are beautiful like seeing his drawings in 3D. The rest I could take or leave, a lot of scaled up ornaments, but will come back for another look.
