a chapman at hoxton square

Enjoyed seeing Tim Marlowe talking to Waldemar Januslazk, it was such a sucky meeting (mainly Tim sucking). The work is depresssing and negative, some hipsters chuckled at kids with animals faces and swastikas on their uniforms, and pseudo modern art made of junk and african sculptures, some paintings on the wall look left over from a show of one of white cube's other artists like Neil Tait. Upstairs is some more inconoclasm, religious paintings scarred and desecrated. All done with pointless malice, a showing off of irreverence in a time when nothing but status is revered in the society they live in.
