It's just a composited 'drawing' I did in Ps. To see the whole thing try this. ;)

Sorry.

I'm just screwing around.

I needed a little diversion from a lot of heavy academic research for a big article that'll probably end up on CAP'S CRITS after it gets rejected elsewhere.

Ekphrasis is this neat Greek word I came upon reading about art interpretation (Gombrich) - and then watching the news about the protests in Greece over 'austerity measures' (i.e. getting rogered by the IMF and its Euro lapdogs) and then musing on the collapse of global capitalism I thought I'd put a few things together...

The Demon Drummer of Greek Street is a sort of allusion to the musical Sweeney Todd - his theme song - "The Demon Barber of Fleet Street" i.e. me = Sweeney Todd to Greek economic tragedy.... Whatever!

Hey it's my life, sort of. :)
