Is wolf hall really boring or very good? I can't decide, I find myself barely able to watch an episode, having to split them into 2 goes, then looking forward to the next one. It reminds me of something I would have avoided in the 80s with the tinkly lute music and dark corridors, some boring/odd show on BBC2 but I can't remember which, perhaps an Open University program about Elizabethan England. Ditto Mark Rylance is he really good or just not doing much? What if they'd had an electronic soundtrack!?
