I have watched the first series, or should I say season, and in case anybody is wondering if they should commit to it in the hope of any sort of resolution by that stage I would say not to. It is entertaining though with a couple of good twists but I am always put off by the sense that it's just going to be spun out endlessly. Did he do it? Yes he did. No, he didn't. Maybe he did! Oh no, he didn't. etc.

I would recommend Boardwalk Empire though. The first season is great and the second one is really good too. Starting to have soapy moments but not too many.

I had really low hopes for it, but the first episode did seem to pick up half way through and then Mandy Patinkin appeared and I am happy. Though he is not in it much and I dont see any opportunities for him to sing and dance on the horizon. Never mind. It wasnt to bad. Clare Danes is clearly nutty though, this may get irritating.

I agree Jim, its gonna be 'oh yes he did'..'oh no he didnt'.
