It's about Paul H-O who produced a funny looking show on public access tv about the New York art world, and there are lots of vintage takes from the old days before money spoiled everything (the usual nostalgia, money has always spoiled everything). Then Paul interviews Cindy Sherman, they start going out, and the rest is history. Both Paul H-O and Cindy are charming characters, and Sherman comes across as one of the most non-pompous characters on any tv show/interview about famous artists. Her and H-O's relationship has a fairy tale quality about it, and is genuinely uplifting. |It's hard to explain but it all makes you feel warm and happy (despite the inevitable problems).
