From: Disappointed Category: Art Date: 05 July 2009 Time: 04:23 PM Review: Peter McDonald has a seriously bad painting show on at Kate MacGarry. It shocked me to see this nonsense in the flesh, winner of John Moores 2008. Seriously. Too bad to go into detail and luckily finished today. The other show, Justin Mortimer at 500 Dollars over the road was possibly even worse, although if he were a John Moores winner it may seem a little more acceptable (not the work). London definately has too many galleries for the amount of artists that should be showing.
