With this Shoreditch space, the Londonewcastle Project Space, they have added to the artistic outlets in the area, providing artists with the ability to display their work, free of charge. High profile events attended by the likes of Alfie Allen and Jamie Winstone include a two-day photography exhibition by Rankin - 'The Masters of Photography'. The Princes Trust have also held a Londonewcastle sponsored exhibition here called The Prince's Drawing School, giving artists at the school the opportunity to show and sell their work. What's on at Londonewcastle Project Space Now The World is Yours - Photographs 30th May 2009 - 7th June 2009 From humble beginnings in Hammersmith, photographer Lawrence Watson has worked with some of the biggest names in the music biz. Working for the NME since at age of 17 gave him access to some top musicians including US hip-hop artists such as Run DMC, LL Cool J and Public Enemy. From bands like Oasis to musicians Ian Brown and Paul Weller, Lawrence has documented it all. For a short time only, you can see select images chosen for 'The World is Yours' at the Londonewcastle Project Space - the exhibition marks the launch of a book by the same title. See iconic images of nineties Brit pop rivals Liam Gallagher adn Damon Albarn alongside a friendly looking Shaun Ryder shot in 2007 - and looking a lot fresher than in his Happy Mondays heyday.
