From: J Crew Category: Art Date: 01 April 2009 Time: 09:03 AM Review: http://www.jaimegili.org/ Gili has decorated the glassy interior atrium of the Bllomberg Temple with his trademark triangles. They look as good as I've seen them, lively, eye-catching, and dynamic. You stare up and through and the space is activated as they say. The opening included half hamburgers, the new austerity i guess but the hamburger will always be half full to this optimist. You wonder whether corporate decoration like this may provoke the mob to further destruction and when they catch the artists who collaborated with the bankers and their servicers, the rough neck and crusted may politely ask are we just the decorators for the ultra rich. Our answer will be: Yes. We would do anything for anyone to get a show and some money, you trying being an artist.
