From: Category: Art Date: 26 March 2009 Time: 12:44 PM Review: I love Harry Pye's paintings, they never fail to make me smile. Some that I have seen are excellent. He makes the work of his collaborators look forced and like just too much effort, he makes their attempts at the photo-realistic look just plain stupid, as if to tell us that there are more important things to do than re create in paint what we already have. The effect is comic and clever.
