Gran Torino a film with Clint Eastwood

Review:

Watchable tv movie type drama lifted by Clints presence. Seems to have a thesis that saying racist 
jokes, teasing, is ok as long as you're a good guy willing to love thy neighbours. Clint has been 
involved in some political correctness type controversy. I think that it is true that from a white male's 
perspective there is nothing wrong with a bit of racial joking, however for those groups who have and 
still felt the lash of discrimination (real people being really hurt) that it might not be such fun to be 
called a chink, zip, yid, spook, or whatever. It may irritate the great Clint that his innocent horsing 
around makes people upset, but surely it wouldn't harm him too much to avoid offence and not be a 
wanker.
