From: Vestan Pance Category: Art Date: 02 December 2008 Time: 04:52 AM Review: Such is the esteem, in which I hold the great Stephen Fry's trousers that I simply refuse to allow such a remark. no matter how flippantly cast, to sully the reputation of this "president elect" of hosiery, We have all experienced the odd unfortunate hitch with the wrong wardrobia, I myself once dyed a pair of white levi's a most roman shade of purple, what their fate was after arriving on the shores of the charity shop floor, I have no knowledge or interest in. I was simply carrying out my duties as a citizen. Many analysts and contemporary critics have commented on my failure to anhillate such abominations in the darkened cesspit of an uninhabited island. As to the accusation of the aformentioned being an professorial wunderkind surely this represents an excess too far, ! My critical invective is more likely to be directed at the pupating bulging eyes of Alan Davies who somehow represents something of an alter ego to Lord (of the) Fry, such is the state of Alan Davies trousers , he dare not embark on anything more adventurouos than panel games such as QI. And would appear to hold a grudge against anyone sleeping rough who might attempt to outshine the television actors presence. I would concede, however that The Earl of Norfolk; Sir Stephen Fry, in his television role as a solicitor in one of the Fen towns is a very droll business altogether, I will as a rule follow his espace full of film crew anywhere but there I will not go. Such fare is suitably off the radar not to qualify as anything more than bilge - and yes, the character Sir Steve plays would probably be lured into a pair of purple levi's, causing a dreadful fuss, ending the episode with the local police scratching their heads whilst a Margaret Rutherford lookylikey stands astride her cycle in amazement (played by the dreaded Amanda Burton) I challenge all comers to cite a genuine trouser incident to which Stephen Fry is the iconoclast. Show some mercy!
