From: November Category: Art Date: 11 November 2008 Time: 05:05 PM Review: Demons, yarns and tales is a show of middling to quite good and very good artists, their works planned and sent off to India to be made into tapestries to no particular effect. The art has made its way to design without leaving the gallery, but if you are a collector I guess this kind of move is much of a much ness, stick it on the wall, and its all the better if its still called art. The opening its self was impressively swish, lots of ladies and gentlemen swishing around with their dresses and suits, kind of sickening really, drinks - an interestingly bottled beer (from Estonia I think) and, great, a hog roast and kebabs in pita. I didn't read the blurb, and I am sure I am missing a lot….I hope they sell it all, or that it brings in a few more collectors or whatever.
