Review:

A favourite, for £2.50 you get mix veg curry and rice from the pleasant fellows who work very hard in
this wonderful place. They add in daal for no surcharge, and these are really delicious lentils. Some
days they have okra curry which is £3 for a medium with rice, plenty for lunch or a light supper. Meat
and chicken curries and kebab rolls are available. Very popular, it is just a little shackish place, a
permanent market stall on the side of the market. Some days they offer fish or prawn curry. There are
also samosas (but these seem to be cooked from frozen) and bhajis. They close at eight, and as
evening draws in you might find them playing very loud asian music from the stereo to wake
themselves up as they merrily clean behind the stove. For refreshment cokes and water are available
at the reasonable price of 50p.
