what is a fair

Review:

Interesting that you should say it is not a fair. There are many definitions of fairs, not all of which are 
galleries showing art for sale. Fairs can be fun, different stalls with games etc,  or you get winter fairs, 
village fetes etc, festivals, I I like those kind. The Free Art Fair has the spirit of a fair in people coming 
together to enjoy themselves, the excitement of the  giveaway and festive atmosphere of the queue. I 
don't see that the idea of a fair should be defined by what Frieze do, that is one model. I am open to 
new ideas for the FAF, but I don't think modelling on the gallery booth type is necessary the way to go. 
Frieze is more of a market than a fair.
