From: Professor Cocksure Category: Films Date: 16 September 2008 Time: 06:17 AM Review: I too saw this film and my over-riding sentiment from when I first espied the marijuana-infused characters was that they were rather unfortunate individuals who had sacrificed their lives to achieve the aim of 'getting high' as they might have put it. Rather than finding them funny, I felt sorry for them or occasionally was rather irritated by their antics. Towards the end, I had forgotten about their social problems and did chuckle a few times. I thought it was quite revealing when Red mentioned that he had worked as a prostitute; not unusual given that 90% or so people in this trade have a drug habit they feel compelled to fuel.
