The rain poured in, and sightings of people in branded college tracksuit bottoms were rare, even the geeks who work the summer had taken a day or two off. The radcliffe cam was empty, and hearties, rowdies, and hacks could not be found in the KA (king arms public house). The colleges with their no entry to the public gates reveal vast tardis buildings quads gardens, fairies, mountains, streams, cathedrals, the occasional student. Forever oxford, forever the same, oxford forever. An ancient mounument, pity now it's just the gucci of universities, a status symbol on the way to a good job in consulting or hedging or VC. Without the usual crew you could almost imagine it a place of learning in the mist.
