Review:

Like the fish you're not quite sure what youre getting. Coley was nominated for the Turner Prize which 
youd probably forgotten cos it was the one in liverpool. He does that conceptual-architecture-
smorgas-board gallery art that looks like it never touched the dirty ground between art school and 
haunch of venison, ie it is cool as a cucumber, looks like something that would sit comfortably in a 
habitat shop, and as the intellectual depth of a first year reading list at a provincial art school. A 
mosque church and synagogue covered in camoufalge markings, some lighbulbs saying something 
vaguely philosophical. Yes you've seen it before, semiotics has a lot to answer for.
