Review:

Saw the beginning of this a few months back on Sunday night TV but had to get ready for school so
didn't get past the funeral scene at the start. Glad to come back to it on Saturday night at a friend's
house where I did some of my growing up. I guess the film is about growing up to, from 20s to 30s. All
action takes place at Kevin Kline and Glenn Close's house over the weekend of the friend's (Kevin
Kostner?) funeral. The momentarily reunited group of College chums try and work out why he killed
himself, and what exactly it means to them. They also stumbled around with eachother finding out how
strong their interlocking relationships are and blurring the boundary between friendship and love. All
familiar territory to me right now. The ending came most unexpectedly, which left me with an even
happier after-thought.
