From: Category: Art Date: 04 June 2008 Time: 07:01 AM Review: A piece of paper has been floating round in my wallet, scribbled "Johnny Flynn, Tickle me pink, Cold Bread" written by the beauty himself. I had thought at the time such a pretty boy should do well in the music industry, imagine the teenage girls and others. A year later I was told he had a million dollar contract. Finally I have got round to getting hold of some of his music and I am suitably impressed. Folksy, gravely, less boyish than his appearance and there is nothing I love more than the pure sweet sound of the guitar, simple vocals along with occasional violin in minor. Go out and get some, its not revolutionary but its beautiful.
