A World away from the ephemeral baubles of the london art world, Jobsons paintings fulfill his ambition to "capture something of the land".Jobson sadly passed on last year, leaving a generation of students at LLandudno College of Higher Education, where he was head of Painting (known affectionately as Jobson by his students), without a tutor for a short period.Jobson had works in many international collections, including Pan Am and the Tate Gallery. "Slagheaphis " was nominated for The John Moores in 1974. He is survived by his wife Mary, his daughter Emma, and his dog, Quinlan.
