Review:

Alison Watt, with her unfortunate name, has been around for ages appealing to the conservative
brigades with pseudo classical painting. These folds called something like Ghost actually do work
quite well as an installation, their white grey big size in the eerie late afternoon gallery light creates an
ATMOSPhere. When you look close up at them they're not quite there with the marks, all a bit filling in
a big canvas, rather than late de kooning. And what is with folds appealing to every I want to be
contemporary but still reference old art, artist around. ENough folds already.
