I only know one person who voted for Boris and they said they did so because they thought it wrong that Ken drunk whiskey at morning meetings. I asked what policies Boris had that were any good and their answer was that the only one they knew of was to set up a centre for rape victims. Sure, good and his opening gambit has been the fight against crime. Generally this 'fight' is about the securing of private property and perpetuating a culture of fear, all rather Berlusconi. Boris' victory speech was memorably good though, it didn't exactly have me waver but it did make me feel a better about the mess of his election. 'Tomorrow let's get cracking, tonight let's have a drink', I might use that, rather catchy. Whatever, let's see what happens next.
