Review:

Fortnum's and Mason's has reorganised its restaurants. I have been eating lunch there since I was 4,
my aunt worked at the Soda Fountain, and I would always eat a chicken and mushroom pie, followed
by a dusty road. In the old days, in the recent days it was always tacky, over priced and the food was
crap. Today I arrived too late for lunch, but as I slid through on my way up to The Parlour the food I
glanced at seemed like an improvement. I'll go there next time some one else is paying. Instead we
paid up stairs £4 for a pot of tea, £3.50 for a coffee, £8 for a Quails Egg and duck sandwich, and how
fantastic to be able to eat and see Piccadilly at the same time. Any way there is a selection of
different places in F and M where one can waste money. Don't have the quails egg, its chewy, like
rubber balls. The décor is quite cool, kitsch sliver green and cream. Metal milk jugs that don't match
the white tea pots, little mini ice creams (it’s the Ice Cream Parlour) by the side of the coffee, v.cute.
