From: book reviews Category: Books Date: 11 January 2008 Time: 09:02 PM Review: When you've got nothing else to read you read "beautifully written" books like this. Before I finish and the plot takes over, I will give you some quotes from the wonderful prose: " I need to talk to you about something Tal. It's important. Something...somethings not right." hows that for great dialogue. about cemeteries "...their stark reassurance that the wheel of history turns indeed." wonderful insight. Yes this plodding, pompous, ponderous book, aside from its novel milieu of upper class black folk, is a victim (beneficiary) of hype.
