From: foodie Category: Art Date: 07 January 2008 Time: 06:55 PM Review: tate modern, my favourite place in whole wide world, and every other middle class family's. fish and chips with mushy peas wont get you much change from a tenner, the chips aren't bad, the fish is ok but the batter is floppy. the mushy peas seem a bit silly in their little ramekin. upstairs in the restaurant there are queues and computers to keep your place, and downstairs there is a wait, but not so long, but the views are less spectacular. The staff are foreign and jolly and some guy looking like a punter in a suit, not a waiting outfit, comes and checks on us, the boss mucking in? or a conceptual art performance? nice enough/ hell on earth, the most depressing place an artist could ever eat.
