In some ways worse than christmas, because fun is a more intangible quality than avarice. I suggest a boycott of this festival, unneccessary in the age of electric light and global warming(no need to cheer us through another cold dark season). Let us not be forced into mass jollity and drunkenness. Let us ignore the fun entirely. Free yourselves from the festive mob and go your own way. And not just because i haven't been invited to any parties on NYE.
