Review:

We find our happy christmas carol scene near the bakers arms Leyton London England UK. It is the
night before Christmas, the presents are wrapped and waiting under the tree, all that is needed are a
few delicacies for our bellies, titbits to delight, and where better to get them then the local Tescos.
Outside there are people screaming, or perhaps they are singing, maybe they have learning
difficulties and we shouldnt even look at them, let alone stare. Inside we find all the bus queues you
have ever stood in, every crowded tube carriage, the sale of the centuries, and some more folks. The
people who cant wait, those that refuse not to push, are hoisted on their own petards, whatever that
means, and they can barely move, lost in their own world of cupidity and basic food needs, they cant
get where want to go, because they dont care or dont think about others, and so one person very
rarely lets another go by or moves an inch for their fellow citizens and will not abide or enforce any
system to move more quickly. All the greedy people, careless in their universes, are stuck with each
other, stopping movement, reducing it to the pace of an airport. Tesco, Bakers Arms, is the paradigm
of our consumerist libertarian society. The jammed frenzy to fill trolleys with frozen yorkshires, finest
mince pies, loaves and loaves of sliced white, and perhaps a roast to star on the big day, leads to the
perfect storm. The madness is all summed up here and it is christmas present and christmas future,
forever and ever all men and women.
