Review:

This 1980's film is all about some druggies stealing drugs from drug stores. The actors are charm
less and it is difficult to care about their relationships or existential problems. Narrative voice tells us
that people take drugs because life is boring - dull jobs etc- and that is as intelligent as it gets, and
though we take drugs and lose control infact we don't have control of our lives even if we give up
drugs, this is proved by rehabbed hero being shot by an old druggie friend who thinks he has some
pills. Drugs and druggies are no more interesting than any of the other dull fucks of the world, but at
least they realise it and shut up, shut themselves up and gradually die.
