Review:

i had always disliked this restaurant before. now they are offering 3 courses for £12.50 until
tomorrow to celebrate their 20th anniversary, food tastes better when its good value. the meal was
one of the best meals i have had in a london restaurant, poached egg on smoked haddock papardelle,
the egg oozing lusciously over the subtle pasta. then pheasant, not too well hung, on a puree of
parsnip or the like, then a chocolate confection with chocolate icecream, that could have been
italian in its soft richness. the restaurant is noisy and overcrowded but still fun with a bunch of
stiffs all chattering madly. service was actually much nicer than i remembered, obliging. highly
recommened at this price. which ends friday lunch.
