From: Janet Williams Category: Books Date: 10 November 2007 Time: 04:43 PM Review: Peter Carey is a virtuoistic Australian Novelist who lives in NEw York and won the Booker Prize twice. This is about an artist and is narrated by him and his crazy brother who speaks in CAPITAL LETTERs. Artists meet beautiful woman in rain and the rest is history ( a novel). Very rip roaring story and some beautiful writing. Not quite a major work but not a bad picture of the art world. I recommend you read this for enjoyment.
