From: Remi Category: Theatre Date: 03 October 2007 Time: 12:07 PM Review: Saw this play about ten years ago by an amateur dramatics society. Saw it again with the same friend, and his girlfriend and sister a few days. We went to Pizza Express before the play, to whet our appetites. Kind of knew what was going to happen, especially the last scene which I glimpsed on telly recently. Algernon actor was not so good, camping it up like Lloyd Grossman and wearing 'mezzo calvo' socks. Others won the play back, making it seem both realistic and funny.
