From: Ont Category: Books Date: 23 September 2007 Time: 02:24 PM Review: In 1954 Nadine Gordimer's Lying Days was published and this is a brilliant book recalling life growing up on a mine in South Africa. In 2005 her latest novel, Get a Life, was published. This irritating reproof is repeated at various/pertinent points throughout the book. And the book is, on the whole, irritating. She seems to be copying the style of other writers. Be yourself Nadine Gordimer.
