From: rr Category: Art Date: 22 July 2007 Time: 06:12 AM Review: You seem to be saying that only absolute originality can make a piece of art interesting, exciting etc. Of course novelty would be exciting but the YBAs are not completely invalidated because their work has historical precedent. In fact many views of art history might say that makes their work more valid. What if they take photorealistic scupture and make it more emotive and intelligent?
