From: Remi Category: Consumer Date: 04 July 2007 Time: 05:44 PM Review: Jimmy Connors was commentating in between play this afternoon, and they showed the conclusion of his match against erstwhile rival John McEnroe. Really got into the spirit of the match, despite the 25 years gap. There was something quite surreal about it all, cheering on Jimmy. These moments evoke so much for me, but I can't convey them. The nostalgia, all your life reflected in a childhood hero, flashes of your schooldays come back to you. Even feelings that you can't put a finger on, when you like to think you know yourself well enough. After all the excitemenet, Connors and McEnroe were there together talking afterwards, putting their old rivalry to good use.
