Perhaps my brain was addled but I found the painting of a high standard, everything pushed to the pepsi max. The branding and big tent with it's hardboard coolness was also impressive. The RCA used to repulse with its slick slick craftiness and market sensitivity ( you get a fair number of students imitating the Turner Prize winners of the last decade) but really I got a buzz off this years show and wanted to spend more than five minutes there. Wassup man, is it me or the art?
